Hmmm... I see why its tough since the mask changes the whole mood of the picture. If you pick the top one, she kind of has that superhero look. If you pick the bottom one, she is much more vixen-like because of the brows. Personally I like the top one better. The color of the mask accentuates her breasts and the wall, plus I think it plays well with the tattoo. I really like the color combination of the yellow mask and the red hair. The hair color is really good, but I don't like the bangs. I know this is a WIP, so my suggestion is to move the have the eyes look a little more upward and pan the camera a little more upward as well. Or conversely, lower the eyes and camera. I hoper this helps and that you get plenty of responses. Keeps up the great work :)
I agree about the mask, camera, and eyes. I'd also try giving the mouth a little less neutral expression, perhaps a pursed/pucker twisted slightly to one side, with a touch of smile applied to one side of the mouth only. Save the current expression first, just in case you want to return to it after experimenting. I like the lighting a lot - any chance you dan replace the texture-mapped brickwork on the wall behind with modeled brickwork? Not sure if a good bump map would be enough for realistic dimensional shadows there. If I were doing this one, I'd add something like graffiti or the edge or a tattered poster of some kind to the left area leading attention off that way. A good concrete texture, used as a bump map on the pauldron would keep the light coloring there from stealing focus as well. . . . just my 2 cents worth . . .
thank you all. I will actually make one with the mask and one without the mask as finished versions. I will change that wall, its still WIP but its hard to find GOOD bump rock wall. Been looking at the free area stuff and hopefully found a few good ones. I will change her eyes to look JUST a bit downwards, and get her lips a little less glossy and fuller with side talk type of thingy. Thank you all for your help. I am glad a got quite a lot of feedback with and without the mask. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN. I will post the finals if anyone is interested. Thank you...
