I have a huge (15 CD) collection of royalty free photos I use a lot, but what it lacks are good usable photos of people. Are there any sites out there that have royalty and cost free images of people?

istockphoto is the designers dirty little secret. The photos are not really free (but the maximum is 3 dollar for the largest size), but the quality is rather good. Good free images of people are harder to find. In the end the best photo's are on those royalty free CD's, but then you must be prepared to pay them, like, 700 bucks. I find my stock photos mostly via www.graphicobsession.com , it features a lot of the collections available.

well, my CDs have people, but they're not very good and not many of them. Mostly I have landscapes, clouds, skies, stuff like that. I did find one site, but i haven't explored it yet. Free stock photos, but I don't know of what quality yet

Stock xchng (Exchange) is a pretty cool resource, there are even some of our own photography forum members posting work there.

there is also a site called Morgue File that has hi-res photos of different stuff, maybe you can find something there...

You could also try deviant Art for stock photos. They have some useful things, just leave a link for the person supplying the photo and they are happy.
