Ethan James was born on Jan 31st. He is 7 pounds 7 oz and both mom and baby are doing fine. Wish I had more pictures... My son is in Kansas, so it's a bit of a drive to visit from California.

Congratulations Peggy! I know about the long drive, as my oldest daughter and grandson live in Oklahoma. Grandchildren are great! I know you'll love being a Grandma.

Congratulations Peggy :) why can't someone make a poser model that looks that cute.

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

I'd much rather have grandchildren. You get all the good stuff, look after them, play with them, spoil them and then give them back. Congratulations.

chohole ( ) posted Thu, 03 February 2005 at 1:46 PM

Yes, congrats to the parents and to you. As DrawbridgeP said the grand children are the fun ones. Much less hassle than your own, because you can give them back when they misbehave. Sympathise with the journey you have, to see my grandchildren I have to face a trip to the airport, a flight and another car trip. Does tend to spoil the enjoyment some. But well worth it once you get to see them.
