I have poser 5 and am not able to get a piece of clothing onto the figure. I select if from the right and it places it at the knees of the figure. later when I try to drape it, - it falls to the floor or draps around the knees. is there a step by step procedure for the novice that someone can walk me through? This is pretty frustrating.
thanks

Once you've selected your clothing & it's loaded into your scene...have you clicked on "conform to" Then select figure 1/2/3 etc whichever is appropiate :)

1)select the clothes item 2)go the the 'figure' menu 3)click 'conform to...' 4)select the figure you want the clothes th be placed onto 5)click 'conform' it only works is the clothes are made for the figure of course :)

It might help if you tell us which figure you are using, and which clothing you are using. From the sounds of it you are trying to use dynamic clothing ... the instructions that people have given you so far are for conforming clothing. There is a difference, so could you give more detail about what you're using?

I agree with ArtyMotion, there are two completely different types of clothing-Clothing that conforms and clothing that is dynamic--it looks like you are trying to conform dynamic clothing. I think you must use the cloth room for dynamic clothing. This is a great site to go to for learning how to do it-www.render-lab.com/Dynamic_Clothes.htm. Just 13 simple steps. Plutom
