My brother took this really neat photo of me when I graduated by zooming in to my face while holding the shutter open. I always though it was rather cool. Of course make sure you photograph the taking of the diploma and the throwing the hats in the air!! Is this graduation fron high school or coledge? If high school super impose thir psicture with someone you know they would like!!! Or people standing in ovation. For coledge see above ot photos of her in front of a building where they regurly studied doing someting triumphant. Bsteph

You will 'prolly want one nice traditional well-dressed, scrubbed mug shot. I don't know if many places require this any longer for school/job applications, but it's always nice having something timeless and traditional. She may resist this, but force her kicking and screeming. Beyond this... the sky is the limit. Use this as an opportunity to show off the personality of the subject. She will be trading with friends, and puting it in the Year Book.

Just take as many shots as you can!... before, during & after... (this was taken on the football field, (liked her pro studio cap & gown senior pic better but it didn't have the obvious joy of this one) & I was disappointed with the actual graduation shots as I couldn't get close enough & my zoom is lacking... but was satisfied overall) If you're taking a pre grad shot then you have more control over the setting & lighting which is an added bonus
