Can anybody guess what this is supposed to be? Modeled in Wings, the cushion is a Bryce terrain. I'll be adding a wooden chest with iron fittings and an illuminated manuscript. I took some liberties with the design (I think I did, I couldn't find a very good reference) of the bands on the sphere; I liked the look of echoing the pyramid shapes of the jewels. John

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

It's one of the relics that Brother Maynard carries with him... ...three sir. THREE!

Yeah, the Holy Hand Grenade! One... two... four! bwamm :-D

diolma ( ) posted Sun, 06 February 2005 at 4:06 PM

Hmmm... With a lot more jewels on it, it could be a replica of the Orb from the Crown Jewels (UK)... If that's nowhere near close, I apologise... Cheers, Diolma

CrazyDawg ( ) posted Sun, 06 February 2005 at 8:30 PM

Its the orb that sits on top of the staff/scepter(whatever its called) that the pope carries.

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

The plush is even more "off model" than my own liberal changes. :^) Here's my reference pic.

Every Brit should know what it is. It's the thing the queen keeps her Wuther Originals in.

Yup, drawbridgep - that was the Crown Jewel I was referring to:-) Not the CrownJewel that is part of the anatomy of Plince Phirrip... (<-- Anyone notice a snide reference to "Slitty eyes" there? I hope it wasn't TOO obvious..:-)) Cheers, Diolma

LOL TheBryster; I assume that by "the horse" you mean the female who strolls around Windsor Park with a pack of animals trained to keep it clear of innocent children...:-)) (Not that I have anything against the Royal Family, God bless 'em, - but they do leave themselves open sometimes..:-) Cheers, Diolma

Chas is ok as long as he isn't accompanied by the horse..... Don't you mean the Rottweiler? ;o) His PR people are still hoping that if she's produced often enough everyone will forgive and forget, and he'll one day be able to take his rightful place as monarch, with his consort by his side. Maybe it will happen, but I'm not holding my breath.......

Bryster - Sorry. I fully understand "Chas"; I thought you were referring to his sister as the "Horse". Didn't even think about the "other" horse. I don't like getting nightmares (pun intended). Cheers, Diolma
