Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 11 3:50 am)
Did you remember to resave the model with the new uvs? Also, I don't know if the order you chose to do things might make things overcomplicated. I do all my clean up and mapping in UV Mapper before even importing to Poser. Maybe that's not necessary, but I was so happy to find a little workflow that was predictable that I kinda latched onto it ;)

This is really killing me. I created a pair of flipflops in Shade and exported the obj. I brought it into Poser5, repositioned and tweaked it to sit right. Next, I went into the grouping tool and set material zones straps and sole. So now I have 2 groups and 2 material zones. I then smart-ppropped them and saved the flipflops to my library. I then exported out as an obj and imported back it back in; the groups and material zones are intact, and the sandals fit right. I imported the obj into UVMapper, and seperated them by material region and aligned them logically. I then uvmapped the sandals. Next, I then created a texture from my template. I then apply the texture to the sandals as a test, and I get nothing but a white sandal, no texture. What is going on here. I am about ready to toss Poser out and call it quits. Why is content creation such a hassle for me? I'd gladly apperciate any help. -The Starkdog
