Subject: Hair help needed

Hi gang, need help in this creating hair thing. Here's my problem--I can't get hair to wrap tightly around and back-say in making a bun. I tried tearing apart on of the Judy hair styles that have it but can't get the sides to gently taper up and around the back of the head. Can this be done in Poser 5 and if so how. Getting hair to flow down and around the shoulders etc is not a problem. Plutom

It would probably easier to use transmapped hair for things like buns. Unless you actually need to show a woman letting down her hair. Koz and Studio Maya both have nice transmapped hair, including buns, for free.

I take it we are talking about Poser 5 dynamic hair. If so you can use the curl tool and experiment with how far up the hair strand you set the bend. I have managed to do this but as I remember it was difficult. Good Luck NeilP

Hi Neil, Yep, we are talking Poser 5 and the olde hair room-definitely will give the curl tool a try (after my Excedrin takes hold). That was one of my problems, the bend in the hair started too far out from the scalp. Yes, its miserable getting the hair to go in any direction that is not down, straight out or straight up. Thanks!
