Yeah, I've been learning the internals of Cr2 hacking, and what you can and cannot get away with. I tried some of it with Gryphon 2.0, but his rigging doesn;t allow some of that to work at all. (I wanted to see if I could scale his wings up and down.. one worked, but the other exploded.)

You know, there is a lot that can be done with a CR2 instead of morphs :) And it saves files space :) Great looking upgrade Gareee. --Rebekah-- Gryphon go BOOM !

Beats me.. they told me Weds., Then Thurs., then Friday, and last I talked to them, it didn't sound hopeful for today. They are backed up again, and weren;t at the beginning of the week. Go figger.

well dern they need to hurry. the reason i baught klank was to use your set.

Gareee ( ) posted Sat, 19 February 2005 at 6:57 AM

I called them every day last week to make sure the release was timely. Whne I spoke to Ryan last friday, he said if I had it to them on Mon., it would be QA'd on Tuesday, and released on Weds. Needless to say, that didn't happen.

i give up on DAZ as far as timely releases on anything. Stuff just kinda pops up out of nowhere...whenever they have time.

Nah, I saw the que of things being prepared, Dave-so.. there are a LOT of VERY cool things being prepared. I can't fault them for having a lot of activity.. that's part of the reason I deal with them. They were also installing and getting up more test systems, and it sounds like they are still trying to balance Bryan leaving as well. Plus they also took on PoserPros, and are probably investing a good chunk of time trying to figure out what they hell they are going to do with it as well. When you think of it, we are in very exciting poser times.. w've seen a lot of really great diverse characters released in the last year, and 2 years ago this time, CL looked to be sinking fast. Daz Studio wasn't even announced, and it looked like poser developement might become a thing of the past. Now we have P6, AND D|S to look forward to, (and Bryce has been saved, and will be somehow integrated into Bryce), RDNA has a very strong stable of artists, Sixus has grown immensely, and is working with CL, and PoserPros will have a stable life for the near future. The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades. Only downers are that we lost some great talent (like Ironhart), and a few of the best artists are MIA.. Neftis, and Anton.

actually, you're absolutely right :) i need to relax

Nah. way too many people relish getting people worked up about stuff.. you can't blame yourself for other people intentionally pushing your buttons. Just while you are browsing, and replying to things, tinker with your latest poser toy in the background. I'm working on another morph set right now, and its coming along great, so thead reply is a simple way for me to take a needed break away. Something my Mom used to say.. if it's not going to effect you 10 years from now, don't worry about it.
