Be optimistic, you're not half-dead, you're half-alive :P After the first scare you would be 1/2 alive After the second scare you would be 1/4 alive and so on...

well, then if you were scared half to death enough times, you would be alive, but practically indistinguishable from dead...imagine being 1/2048 alive...
