Hi, I'm working on a render at the moment, but I can't seem to find the final piece. The pic has a gun being fired, and I need something for the muzzle flash. I've looked around, but all I've been able to find are JPeter's Movie Props - War sets. While these look very good, the muzzle flashes they have are for cannons and shotguns, rather than a handgun as in my picture. Does anyone know of a good muzzle flash prop? If not, how about a tutorial for making a muzzle flash in Photoshop?

I am not sure, but I think that anthony appleyard made something like this, though I couldn`t find it on his site, it might be part of a gun pack.

probably more suited to animators but they do have a section on muzzle flashes.
