Subject: Pre-order Shippable (shade download) ?

I wonder if anyone can help on this, when you've ordered the Shippable version of Poser 6, is the shade LE downloadable, or is that to to be shipped when P6 comes out?

If you order a physical copy, you get the physical copy of both. So no, you won't get a download link.

I wondered that too and someone mentioned it'd probably be shipped with P6...I didn't get a d/l link either if that helps.

So does that mean you get the manual too?

I have Shade Standard. I bought the DL version. The manual is well written, but a real pain( insert the most vile cuss words) trying to read the PDF. Can't find what you want. Need to ask where to find what you need to know from others that have the book. Edit to say, never again. Always order the box set. Imprint that on forhead.

According to the website with LE you get Reference Manual as PDF Users guide as PDF Beginners Tutorial in print Installation Guide in print Shortcut Guide in print comparison chart

Only CL can give a real answer, but my guess would be no manual for Shade - bonus content like that is CD only in most cases I've noticed.

Figures. It was just a dream.

I wouldn't make any assumptions just yet. You might be pleasantly surprised.

I think you can with this one. I forgot that the LE version was a PDF.

hm..has the LE version of Shade a better UI as the normal Version? I've seen a demo and...brrrrrrrr..really ugly.

has the LE version of Shade a better UI as the normal Version? All versions of Shade have the same UI. It is built for function and workflow. not to be pretty. It's a utility not a video game. It doesn't expend your ram or processor on pretty icons or drop shadows.

That was not the point...a tool can be functional and fast and has a pleasing look all together. It looks extreme outdated. I'm not a big friend of overdesigned UIs...but there is some work to do I think. Thomas
