This is a dumb question lol! Every time i post a preview of my images in the galleries i have to make the image smaller than 200 x 200 because the file size always ends up over 15kb if i don't How can i make a thumbnail image 200 x 200 and still have it under 15kb? i have tried messing with the contrast and lighting but still no luck. thanks in advance!

Keep increasing the JPEG compression until you reach your target filesize.

A small amount of gaussian blur can often work wonders for compression.

If you are using Photoshop, try "Save for web" instead of "save as". It gives you more options for jpg compression.

I used to go and post the image at PoserPros. Then the site would create a thumbnail that was smaller and clearer then any I could make using Photoshop or any other program. Next I would right-click the thumbnail at PoserPros and save it to use here or at other sites. Was that OK?

Also, a thumbmail doesn't have to be a small version of the whole image.. Maybe it doesn't always work, but have a look at my gallery for a few examples. If you do want a whole-image thumbnail, you have image-size and JPEG compression adjustments in Poser, too.
