The first two of seven buildings in Halfling Village Volume 1 are now available through my store: Halfling Village Inn and Halfling Watermill. These are .3DS models with texturemaps (applied using unwrapping) that have been tested in Vue (Esprit 4, Esprit 5, Vue 4 Pro), MAX, Cinema4D and MojoWorld. "Halfling" is the accepted alternative term to the word "Hobbit" -- it isnt called Hobbit Village since that will bring down the unholy black hand of Tolkein Enterprise lawyers ;-) best regards, Chikako

Best regards,

I saw these and wanted to get them but I am unsure if they will work in Poser? I know I can import it but other 3DS didn't import the texture. Course I could have been doing something wrong too :-) I love them by the way!

I think it works and looks great in Poser5. It did ask for the texture, which is in the same folder as the .3ds file. I would post a pic but I dont want to insult the artist with my poor lighting skills. Hope that helps a little.
