She also made me promise not to show anyone, so asking for feedback from those I know, and she knows, seems unfair, so I thought I'd ask some total strangers for their input. Thanx

they look great! i like the last 2 because she looks like she's being silly! #3 looks the most natural, but those red splatchs on her arms are very distracting to me. maybe you could try a different color light or try to decrease the brightness of it (well, i'm assuming it was a light u used. apologies if it wasn't). Also, having her head cut off at the top might be a wee bit distracting. i really do like this one a lot though! you captured her high spiritedness! #4, i think this one is the best technically, but keep in mind that i'm not a professional...just a hobbyist who is still in the very beginning stages of improving my technical skills. she isn't quite in the center so that's good. i totally love the lighting on this and enjoy the high contrast and b/w. i also find the shadows and little graininess very appealing. i think what i love about this one the most is her expression and pose. Looks like she was dancing maybe or jumpin' around, and since i love dancing, well, i find this one very interesting. she looks so silly and happy here too, and everything together on this one adds up to a wonderfully fastastic image!!!! This is THE ONE for me!! #2, those spotches on her body really bother me. i also don't care for this one because she looks like a kid here....very innocent looking and child-like. i guess if i'm gonna look at a nude/semi nude pic of a female (not my thing since i'm a heterosexual gal), then i would rather images of women who look a bit older. This one just bothers me because here she looks sooooo young. but that's just me and my preference. #1, this one looks good. i like the tones you used, but that high light on her hand bothers me. i love her hair in this one. i find myself a bit distracted by some splotches on her face, but they're not nearly as noticeable as in the others. i think this one is actually pretty good, but personally, i just don't care for it. maybe because she's lookin' straight at me? dunno. again, looking at pics of nude/semi nude women is not something i dig. but if i'm gonna look at them, then i prefer to see more natural poses. i totally love the direction you went with #3 & #4...the naturalness just adds soooooo much in my opinion and makes for a much more exciting photo. i think if you explore this direction you're gonna make some really exciting and high-energy images! but that's enough from me. Others here are much better photographers than i am and can give you better advice. You did a really fantastic job though! these kind of images are verrrrrry hard to do!!!!! keep up the fantastic work! Oh, and welcome onboard here!!!!!! great to have ya!

they look a little blown out in places from the lighting
& the skin tone is splotchy
i like her expression on 4 but the crop is a little tight,
where 3 & 5 have almost too much excess

5 has the most promise with a better crop imo

are you using a tripod? think they could stand to be sharper too...

experiment with your light source,
others here can suggest how, who take more portraits then i

Just keep working on the lighting.Take your time too. As long as you had her permisssion it is ok.Other than that the TOS state that: A signed model release with Photo-ID must be provided upon request if posting images with photographic nudes.

My thoughts go to an Image that was Posted in the Photography Gallery yesterday....and was finally Banned from the Site, due to???....the reason was never given to the Photographer....it is assumed it was Breast touching...and...from what I gather, even touching One's own Breast is a no no..(I never Show Photos of Myself with Hands in Pockets....or The Sex Police might get Me)..but...then I am not the one that leaves some in the Galleries...and not others...all I know, is that is a Mine Field when showing Nudes....and...Yesterdays Image was fully clothed. Jordy is a Red Blooded Lad...and....Nudes are often looked at for the particular reason of self Erotica...as Your Title suggests....Erotica-ish....I guess it just got Jordy's Libido going...welcome to the Forum :]

Hoy, pent, get to know who your calling an asshole. You drop in here admittedly for your first time throwing insults at regulars?!? Read through some of the older comments and you'll understand I'm one of the guys that throws in the funny comments to break up the serious stuff. You want serious comments? I can give them too. The first picture has potential, but you've over-emphasised the lighting on her breasts, thus portraying her as a sexual object. Highlight her face if you want to give her some identity. Second - same problem. You've highlighted the completely bare area of her stomach, so the viewers eyes don't know where to go coz all the detail is in her face. Third - Good, great pose, but that colour balace between her face and body is screwed up. Look at a similar pose in a lads mag and you'll see what I mean. Fourth - You've fell for the same fault as the first two, but worse. The white of the gown HOLDS your eyes so bad it's unreal. Right mate, there's some honest criticism. I've not done that to be a sod, I've done it so you can go away and learn. If you're a beginner, they're a good start, and the model has the potential to help you learn. If you have experience and just think you're good, sorry to pop your balloon. Now, tell me, which would you have preferred as my first comment on your pics? "Nice tits" or "Crap pics" ?!? (",)

Pent...It's not very nice to call someone an a-hole in here. Mike wasn't trying to be rude or something. I mean, he was being funny. i don't think he was being disrespectful at all. i mean come on, you post nude/semi nude pictures of girls, whaddya expect? and your model too??? you did get feedback on your images. Mike was just interjecting some fun like he always does. i didn't see him as disrespecting your model. he was just showing appreciation for her attractiveness. i think that's pretty normal for a guy. and besides, why pose nude if you don't want people looking at your body and making comments on it? oh i understand nude images can be see as art, but i don't see that here. that's just me though. i'm just a regular gal who has her own ideas about what "art" is. The kind of "artsy" nude/semi nude images i like to see are ones of regular women who don't have perfect bodies...maybe middle aged...and in some natural pose. here's the way i see it, and maybe i'm narrow-minded, but if i'm gonna pose nude/semi-nude (which i never would), ya know...i'm gonna EXPECT that people are gonna look at my uh...er...well, breasts and so forth. There's nothing wrong with a woman posin' nude, but come on, if you're gonna pose nude then you're gonna have to expect that people are gonna comment on your body. and if you're the photographer, you're gonna have to expect that kind of reaction. if you post a picture of an attractive woman in an erotic pose, isn't your intention to have your viewers, well, be eroticized? isn't your intention for your viewers to well, enjoy and appreciate the beauty of your model? perhaps you intend something else though. but if i'm gonna post erotic pictures of men in my gallery, i'm gonna expect that my women viewers are gonna like drool over the guy if he's a good-looking, sexy man. i mean, maybe there's another reason to post erotic images that i'm missing. but the only reason i would post an erotic image, if i ever did such a thing, would be to have my audience enjoy and appreciate the male body, the male form. and if a woman's gonna show her breasts, well, of course, a heterosexual guy is gonna look and appreciate. what's wrong with giving back that kind of feedback? What other reason is there to pose nude than to have people wanna look at your body? perhaps i just don't get it. And what's wrong with Mike making a comment that appreciates her, uh...endowments? anyway, that's about all i have to say, except it wasn't nice to call him a name. we don't talk to people like that in here.

i didn't know you were joking. i didn't see that. guess we all have different ways of joking. in this type of environment without having the non-verbal stuff to go by, well, i think it's good to try to get across that you're joking. you know...use a smiley face or say LOL or something like that. ya know? plus you're new to us here. we don't know you. people who are regulars here, well, we learn to understand each other's humor. and even then it sometimes get misinterpreted. now just me...i wouldn't be calling a complete stranger an a-hole. that's just me though....
