Star Wars "Revelations". For those that don't know, it's a 40 minute FAN-made film. It will be coming out soon. Link is to an interview about the film short. I posted about it in here, because of the following little piece out of the interview; -------------- SD: What software are you using for the CG work? Shane: In terms of FX for the film, we used anything and everything that worked and got the job done Because we are working with volunteers who span the globe, they had to use their own equipment and software to do the CG. So we formed a strong team using all the major software packages (lightwave, 3D Max, Maya, Cine4, BRYCE, Terregen, you named it. ------------ AgentSmith

I think MrDodobird did some of the models. I'm really looking forward to it coming out.

Kromekat is one of the mods in the Cinema4D forum. Beautiful work from both!

Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!

Hey folks! Yes Bryce was used in the film. Ian (MrDoddobird) used it for a couple of final shots, the TIE launch bay above being one of them - really nice stuff!. I also used Bryce early on in the production for concept models and renders, but all the final modeling and rendering (in my case) was done using Cinema. Getting close now - only about 50 days to the premiere and then the movie will be on the web! :) Brian - more than one format? - how do you mean?

Oh wierd! - Well I would imagine that the movie will be available in several formats (QT and WM) and sizes, and I'll probably host a couple myself.

Thanks! - you'll be blown away by the final 45 minute movie me thinks! ;)

I'm looking forward to Revelations more than Return of the Sith (or whatever they're calling it).
