And this one's a real bad a**. ;-) I finally took the time to finish this thing. It's been sitting there incomplete on my HD for a couple of months now. I'm not sure whether or not I'm going to add eye textures or not. I kinda like the glowing ones I used to set it up. But I'm still undecided. Most of the design is based on the GFW design. That one is fast. By mine is faster. 8-P As usual. I'll try to find a way to share it with everyone once I'm done with it. -ScottA

What ??..Godzilla's not stomping tiny lil cars ? :) He looks great :)

I still think Kamen Rider could beat Godzilla, despite being quite smaller...

Kamen Rider was a wus! The real battle would be between Ultraman and Godzilla. p.s. Please lemme know when this is available. It's a "must have."

Before they made me they broke the mold!

WOW!!! Show this puppy to "Shin-Goji" of "Twisted Kaiju Theater" and I suspect he'd buy Poser just to play with the figure! I assume GFW is "Godzilla: Final Wars", the latest (and supposedly the last) film of the franchise. What kind of mapping did you apply to the lil' leezard? In Poser 5 (and soon 6) I suppose it wouldn't really matter if one used the various "math" nodes in the Material Room. However, I still employ Poser 4 for a lot of my work because of its fast scan-line engine. Wrapped mapping not unlike the DAZ Mil' 3 figures could, in theory, avoid excessive texture stretching. Eh, now matter. Should you offer it to the masses, I'll most graciously accept it! Sincerely, Bill

Finally Something fun to pit against Ultraman! PS Hey! No fair changing the animation in the time it took me to post this the first time! LOL! Made me think I was loosing my mind seeing a completely different animation after the post went through!

Looks great, Scott! I'm looking forward to pitting him against my Klank UPgrAy'D! ;) I could probably add a lava texture to him with p5 material settings, after doing that with the new Daz troll...

Great work as usual, Scott. I still like you earlier version too, as it fit the style of my animation "Godzilla" very well. (For those who haven't seem my "epic" animation "Godzilla", that uses Scott's earlier version, it's still posted at: www.changestorm.com/godzilla)

I still have some work to do on it. The texture is simply a Noise channel in P5. So I need to create a texture for it so it works in earlier Poser versions. I've got a few morphs to make as well before it's done. -ScottA

I might be able to load the obj into lightwave, and then bake some proceedural textures on it, and then save that map, it that would help at all.

Gareee ( ) posted Sat, 26 February 2005 at 7:31 AM

Oh, I saw that, but he also looked like he was doing "Dance Godzilla". BTW, do you have that rare CD? It's got some interesting stuff on it. >Think dance disco meets Godzilla soundtrack music< Also, if is tail isn't easyposed, I have EPU, and would be happy to add that to him.

I'm having too much fun with this thing. And since I'm probably going to use it mainly in P5 with nodes, and it will take me freakin' forever to make a good skin texture for it. I decided to just give it out as is. Once I make something I can't wait to give it away. :-) So I uploaded it to my hompage server space here on Renderosity. Just go to my homepage here to download it. Enjoy. -ScottA

Gareee ( ) posted Sat, 26 February 2005 at 1:20 PM

Hey Scott, I'm tinkering with him some...is it ok to add a second fin material for the center fins? I also added a few morphs to him already, and some other nifty features. He's your best Big G to date! Now I'd like to see a original Big G, with the skeletal looking head...

Cue bad Croc' Hunter accent... "Cor! Will ye' look at that! Ain't 'e a beaut'!" I must admit, Poser 5's material nodes are perfect for this Daikaiju! Thank you very much for sharing him with the community! Sincerely, Bill P.S. Garee, it'll be fascinatig to see how you enhance this baby!

Sure. Go crazy on it Garee. ;-) It's been a while since I posted a poser figure. So just a reminder for the new kids who don't know me. Feel free to alter it any way you want. You don't need my permission. Cool pic Redfern. -ScottA

Ok, ya said I could.. I've added easypose to his tail (I might add a few more segments to smooth out the bend though one day), and have added some head morphs, like smile n such. And a few other changes.... ;) here's a wip pic...

Yes, let's go after something more deserving of scorn, like Scrappy Doo.

Actually, my first thought on seeing Gareee's mod was the Pokon/Digimon phenomenon.

Gareee, for the definitive word on "chibi kaiju" allow me to direct you to Shin Goji's www.neomonsterisland.com (I won't direct link it as some of the humor is rather "course"). Your version is "getting there", but most of those "chibi" sized characters have rotound, almost "laughing Bhudda" proportioned bodies. I'm not sure ScottA's figure can be morphed that extreme, but it's worth a shot. Sincerely, Bill
