Subject: Other Vue forums?

aeilkema ( ) posted Sun, 27 February 2005 at 5:11 AM · edited Tue, 24 December 2024 at 7:45 PM

Are their any other Vue forums out there that are as lively as this one? Been around for a while here now, but all of the imo junk aroud here (sexual tinted stuff), doesn't really agree with my lifestyle and at times bthers me. I'm working from home a lot and my kids sure don't need to be seeing half of the stuff around here. So I'm looking for other Vue forums that are still lively and good, but without all of the junk.... are they out there somewhere?

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(

Food for thought.....

try 3dcommune.. they are very nice there.. little smaller.. but then again the popular places are the ones with the stuff you don't want to see. and by the way.. i agree with you. I don't want ANYONE to stop doing what ever they feel positive about doing for Art work, just wish there was a little more control where younger people could come hee and see some of the really nice works with out having to show the very obviously sexualy content. I do like this place though.. everyone is SOO cool and freindly, especially when you think about all those that come here from dif places with diff views.. :) very cool :)

They also just started one over at PoserPros. RDNA has one, as well. Probably not interested in the one at RaunchyMinds... :P I've been saying for years that they seem to have enough call for a separate 'kiddyosity'. 'Rotica did it with Animotions, and it seems to work very well indeed. The parts of the stores that fit both places are at both places, and is part of the vetting procedure before acceptance.

I have a small forum that a lot of Vue users are posting images in the gallery. There are lots of other images posted using different types of programs for art. It is not for everyone because we do not allow nudity or links to such and we do have our reasons. We have a few small children that do post their art work in the gallery. If anyone Interested IM me and I will be glad to give you a link to it. :)

You can always go to your profile here and check "No" on the "Nudity in Galleries". That should help keep some of that stuff off your screen!

Check this link: http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=193160&page=3&pp=15&highlight=Vue+Esprit+forum A New forum for Vue professionals should start on CGTals soon - they say that it will start when Vue 5 Infinite is released, and according to e-on website Vue 5 Infinite shoud be shipped in 2 weeks : http://www.e-onsoftware.com/Products/vue5infinite/ So quite soon! :-))

Thanks guys for the suggestions. 3dcommune? RDNA?? The galleries there are just as poluted as they are here.... Same as here, don't want to browse through hundreds of nudes before I do see a decent image. It's not only the forums, but the whole site which needs to be child friendly. Robert, CGTalk sounds good, but I'm not going to be a V5I user, since I happen to be unfortunalely enough to live in Europe, E-On has decided to charge me far over $900 for the application and that's something I don't want to pay for it. I've signed up at iloco's site and it's child friendly for sure!
