Content Advisory! This message contains nudity, violence

hi everybody. I'm new at this field so I'll make my question as simple as I can. what is the next step after POSER 5 it self? I mean I read about many plugins such as Victoria & Mike, but what is the next logical step . I can't afford to get them all at one time ( they r all good ). so what do u think ? by the way, I'm not so experienced in the field of 3D .

That depends on you, really... If you're into Anime, then you're in luck; I'm about to put up the first Buyer's Guide covering the major Anime female figures. If you're into fantasy/scifi/whatever with real-looking human meshes, you're going to be in for some looking, and opinions will vary - widely. BTW, Vicky and Mike aren't "plugins" in the classical sense; they're meshes - 3d objects you can put to use in your progrma. Also, poke around... lots of stuff is available for free, and there's no sense shelling out a ton of cash when there's freebies afoot that can do much the same things. Cheers! /P

You might want to check out Daz3d. Mike3, Vic3 and Aiko3 are free right now. Get them will you can. DazStudio is also free, a good alternative to Poser. Good luck, you'll need it for your new addiction.

You don`t have to click on violence and nudity to get attention.

hmm, I think you may want to delete the 'violence and nudity' in your topic? ;)

i figured he was sitting in front of the LCD in the nude, frantic over what is to come next..and just about puklling out his hair prior to punching the screen.... But if you're new to #d, if it were me, I'd find some infor about 3D and comupter graphics itself..there are tons of great sites on the web...do a quick search... If you're just into P5...learn the program first with the tools within it, then check the tutorials here, DAZ3d, etc.... But by all means...grab those Aiko, Mike, Vic, and the emoticon guy right away before they get pulled....it will save you about 120 or more US dollars ... but it will probably cause you to spend thousands :) LOL

No, don' get Emotidude!!! Enuf ppl have 'im...they should pull 'im off the market...Cuteness Overload!!!! AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!! Errrr....I mean.....what Peng said, but I'd also suggest findin' a good 2D prog to help ya out when ya can't find the "right" texture fer yr project (& that WILL happen), & to do yr postwork with (even if yr a "minimalist" & limit yr postwork to addin' yr name to a pic)

Gimp V2 is a very good paint program and it's free. I used it for over a year till I bought PSP and I still use it for some things that it has that Paint Shop Pro or Photo Shop don't have.
