Subject: need formula or steps to create a Mimic 3 ready >.CR2 4 M3 ,freak

i having issues trying to create a .cr2 file for M3,V3,D3,& Freak for Mimic 3. I keep createing .CRZ files instead of .CR2. Can someone help me out with a quick step by step formula. Been working on it for a while now and fustration has got the best of me at this point . So any help would be appreciated.i have tried so many ways i thought was right,that im totally dumfounded.

In the edit menu, under General Preferences deselect use file compression and you'll be back to cr2s.

man im never turning that on again thanks caulbox. that did the trick. now im just bummed on all the chracters i thought i was making correctly .ill have to redo thanks

i have been having troublewith my python scripts . do you know if that file compresion settings would interfear with python also? Also if you know off hand the +++ & --- of having file compresion on or off

Shouldn't interfere with Python, though there is a Python script in P5 designed to convert compressed-uncompressed which I recall as being a bit sluggish. The obvious benefit of compression is saving space, but I tend never to use it as I like to leave myself the option for editing files in a simple text editor should the need arise later.
