Subject: Is there a forum use 101 page?

Over at the Bryce forum I ocasionally get a new user asking why they can't get the bryce bitmap render to post to the forum. I looked for a general "This is how to use our forums" page and a Bryce specific one and I can't find anything. If we don't have one we need one. If we do have one it needs to be more obvious. It would certainly help our new users get around.

Have you tried the Bryce community page on the drop down list in communities. They have all the tutorials there. SndCastie

Yes, but its different for each community. The tutorials are usually how to use the program, not how to use the forum. Bryce has one just on how to post for the challenges. The native Bryce output is bitmap. It's confusing when newbees can't post their first Bryce image in the Bryce forum. We have a lot of people lurking. I'd be suprised if even 10% actively post in forums. Maybe they are embarassed that they can't post pictures or links and just gave up? We could make this information easily findable and available from the Renderosity front page.

We have some, but looks like we need one for that as well.

You can't call it work if you love it... Zen Tambour
