Aangus, you're thinking of Jimmy Nail ;-) I sometimes get confused between the two also, they look so much alike ;-) (",) "In wor family it's always been the tunnel, not the funnel" Jimmy Nail's character "Oz" in Auf Wiedersein Pet Series 2, on finding out his son is gay....

sorry, seems I've missed the boat, could have shown Dandi, some good old Southern hospitality here in Nashville TN. On a side note, did ya'll know Bondware and Render are based here? When they interviewed the head honcho last year, he said something about it being here. Small world...

JordyArt ( ) posted Fri, 04 March 2005 at 12:05 PM

lol. A new map will appear shortly..... gee, we couldn't have the poor clown missing out on Tennissee, could we? tch... (",)

jacoggins ( ) posted Fri, 04 March 2005 at 1:43 PM

we have to introduce Dandi to a little culture and sophistication somewhere along the line don't we?

JordyArt ( ) posted Fri, 04 March 2005 at 2:20 PM

That's why she starts and ends in the UK...... (",)

jacoggins ( ) posted Fri, 04 March 2005 at 2:29 PM

sssssuffferin sssuccotash, I see a cultural war a brewin', how can you ever top the "Grand Old Opry"? Huh, can ya? Can ya top good old Jack Daniels Whiskey? How about the fact that yer wife can be yer sister, third cousin and mother-in law at the same time huh? ....uh let's skip that last one ok, nevermind...

Jack, I've just worked out the the above relationship isn't possible. She couldn't be your third cousin too, coz that would mean the family lines split at your great-great grandparents and she would have been born in one of the other 'branches'. I've tried variou...... oh, bugger. If your great-great grandfather married his sister too, it's possible. But the BIG questions is....... how many Xmas cards do you send her?!? (",)

tibet2004uk ( ) posted Tue, 22 March 2005 at 11:40 AM

Erm...I don't want to be a pain but....I would like to participate! Can't u squizze me somewhere in there? Before Mike for ex? I'm in Kent! wink Not a fascinating place I agree but...oh well! :( crying out loud

jacoggins ( ) posted Tue, 22 March 2005 at 2:25 PM

Mike, I just send her one card, I just go to the Redneck card store, they've got cards for all occasions and juxtapositions. They've even got cards for those who are "dating outside of their species" which years ago wasn't unheard of. Ya'll don't get Jerry Springer over there do you?

tibet2004uk ( ) posted Tue, 22 March 2005 at 2:27 PM

We do actually Jaco!! ;) LOL!

ReBorneUK ( ) posted Tue, 22 March 2005 at 2:44 PM

"dating outside of their species" ? 1. Yes I've seen Jerry Springer. 4 generations of the above seems to produce the same visual effect ;-) 2. Isn't erm... being over-affectionate with your animals actully within the law in some states? I'm sure it was mentioned some time back on Channel 4 over here, and it was ok as long as it was YOUR animal? (",)

jacoggins ( ) posted Tue, 22 March 2005 at 3:24 PM

#2, it might be but I'm animal free so I don't get included in the conversation should the topic come up.... Unfortunately, I can't tell you how proud I am of the fact that Tennessee is one of only a handful of states that has a "roadkill" law. If you kill it with your car, you can take it home and ccok it. EWWWWWWWW, somehow possom stew don't sound real appetising....but I guess it's an aquirred taste like caviar, cavivier, fish eggs dammitt!!!!! LOL!

ReBorneUK ( ) posted Tue, 22 March 2005 at 4:15 PM

You think THAT'S wierd? Over here if you run a pheasant over, it's against the law to take it home to eat, you have to take it to the nearest gamekeeper. If SOMEONE ELSE runs it over, it's ok to take it!! Over-rated bird anyways. Give me a clay-baked hedgehog any day ;-) (",)

jacoggins ( ) posted Tue, 22 March 2005 at 6:34 PM

Hedgehog? ain't that the little critter with the spikes on it's back like a porcupine? don't the little spikey things hurt when you chew them, or do you skin 'em first?

ReBorneUK ( ) posted Wed, 23 March 2005 at 4:50 AM

That's spot on, Pat!! And no, it doesn't taste like chicken... nor does it taste like the Hedgehog Flavoured crisps available in the 80's.. if I had to compare it to something most people have tried it would be a game bird like partridge, but I had had a couple of drinks at the time ;-) (it's a long story... I used to do weird things....) "Tastes like chicken....." lol, doesn't EVERYTHING?!? he he (",)

ReBorneUK ( ) posted Wed, 23 March 2005 at 9:44 AM

back when crisps were a new fad, eh??? lol, sorry, couldn't resist it ;-) (".)
