One observation [as a formerly avid and now occasional devotee of anime & manga] which may be relevant when attempting to model anime characters: Given that the original anime/manga medium is typically 2D cels or artwork and may be extremely stylised, the eyes and more specifically the eyeballs are usually exaggerated and non-spherical. When seen from the side they can appear almost flat. In some cases so much so that a sphere representing the eyeball would be larger than the head!
Verbosity: Profusely promulgating Graham's number epics of complete and utter verbiage by the metric monkey barrel.

Hello, I'm quite a beginner in the poser-anime domain. I was wondering, since you can't always rely on pre-fabricated heads and eyes, how do you people model anime characters and their characteristics? Every character has his own eyes and his head shape more or less. What technic are you using? If you have a front view and a side view of your character, what's the best tool to model the head? Are you morphing the anime doll kitt to obtain new anime heads. Or using the magnets? Or per-haps poser's face room to resize the head based on the pictures? And same question for the eyes shape (Not the IRIS color, THE SHAPE) Thanks a lot.
