Yes, the windmill made famous by the film...:) Just thought you may like to relive and revive your childhood :) Near where I live, its in Turville, UK, also where The Vicar of Dibley is filmed. Shot taken with Canon x2 converter with USM IS 100-400...max reach...across the valley...hand held. Anyone else have any location shots of something famous in films ? Opps..ere we go again...

Remember "Get Carter"? (The original with Michael Caine starring, not the naff remake)

Remember the part where Caine throws the guy off the roof of the multi storey car park? Well, this is it!! I've even stood on the same spot!! Unfortunately the upper levels are closed these days due to the fact that it was built in the 60's and the vast amount of concrete aren't lasting as well as they should and they keep threatening to pull it down.

(",) Edit : I've just noticed the comparison between the pictures. How ugly my car park now seems sniff

Interesting thread..... If I could drive on the highway and photograph at the same time I would show you a picture of the "big blue bug" our famous landmark on I95 as seen in the film Dumb and Dumber with Jim Carey..... The big blue bug is actually an oversized termite, for New Englad Pest Control..... but it's a well known landmark... Great shot jim! I love windmills...though I've never gotten to see one in person.

I am, therefore I create.......
