i want to enter this for the challenge, as well as upload it in my gallery. ok, i understand now if i see it outside i can take a picture of it. ok, what about this? My original compo shows the entire name of the pharmeceutical (GlaxcoSmithKline). i wasn't sure if i could show the whole name, so i cropped it, so it all wasn't showing. then i was concerned that i might still be violating some trademark thingy. let me know. i guess you'll just delete this if i can't post it. i'm just not sure. thanks!

nah, don't mind a bit, jim. I remembered what was said here and went back and looked at it again. i thought maybe there was a difference between shooting a trademarked name that's shown out in public vs. one an image that's not. guess it doesn't matter. well, i'm gonna quit worrying about this stuff and just post it. if there's a problem, ya'all can tell me! :) oh, if ya'all are interested in the social image portrayed, you can read the narrative that goes along with this image in my gallery. it's about not having enough money to buy medicine. p.s. this is weird. i made a comment last night to doug and now it's gone. i guess it didn't go thru? doug, sorry about the wrong thumb size...again. :(

Nice pic, very emotive in several ways. btw, I can't remember there being a problem posting pics with trademarks on before - if there was, us car-type people would be forever blanking out little blue Ford ovals.... and the tabloid press would be fooked. he he he (",)

HC...you're the captain! you & your PDA have permission to speak freely with me!!!! thanks a lot guys! i don't particularly care for this image, but i guess it got the point across.

Well I think it's very well shot... nice light, and I do like the blue tones you've given it! This seems to be a real issue for the elderly... sigh it's terrible.

I am, therefore I create.......

As I said in my comment in ur gallery "Definitely perfect for the challenge Sheila! I also see this the other way though! It's actually the first thing I thought about when I saw this shot: addiction! This is also a real social issue! So many people are addicted to medicines, they're real junkies! And that's another problem! Ur image depicts both sides of the problem!".
