No, nothing but the fc2 file. At least if I had a pic, I might guess what model it is for. ;o( And if I have downloaded it, it must be because I liked it. I don't remember at all where I might have downloaded it. I searched for kaoru at Googles but many links came out that had nothing to do with 3D.

There may be several clues within the file. A face file is a list of input values for morphs. If it's for a current DAZ figure, you'll see a lot of references to morphs named like this: targetGeom PBMDC_01 Find something a little more distinctive, such as "AsianHead", and use something like the Windows Find utility to look for .cr2 files which contain that string. Isn't there some provision for comment lines in the file format?
Thanks a lot AntoniaTiger, I was able to find the model with that method. It's Aiko 3. Now if someone stumble upon that face on the Web, please let me know who created it. France

I downloaded this free fc2 file a few weeks ago and all that is contained in the zipfile is a folder tree and the fc2 file (I might have deleted the png/rsr file by accident). Anyway, I don't have a clue as to which model I should try to apply the file to. I tried almost all models I have but I always get an error message in Poser telling me it doesn't work with that model. The filename is kaoru.fc2. Thanks. France
