The next step, i added fuel supply pipes, a fuel-tank, exhaust pipe and the propellers. I think this piece of the "Flying Rondell" is complete now. It has 2.752 Objects and 59284 Polys. Thanks again for looking. Sascha

Wow, nice model.

All that in 60k polygons? EDIT: You're going to change that metal texture right? I think it's a freebie out there called "Dirty Chrome".

Yes only 60k Polygons... Pure Bryce-Modeling (without Terrains) keeps Polys low. You're right, there is the Free "Dirty Chrome" Texture in it. Textures will changed to Bryce Standard or own in the Final Image.

60k with booleans! That's quite a lot, I thought you had terrains in it!

No, only primitives an boolean operations in it. I attach a wireframe-screenshot. But i make a mistake counting the objects. In the scene are 3405 Objects, not only 2752.

you are a ridiculously talented human with a ton of free time... AWESOME. Fantastic, such detail...i can't wait to see the full plane.

Wow, that's insane complexity there! 2 recomendations: Avoid using the default gray as a family because it can inadvertantly also be the color of a group you may have forgotten. I've done it a lot. Also, check out bambam's "Art of Boolean" series, it always amazes me. Looking good, can't wait for the final.
