can metaballs be booleaned and if so how do you do it. I have tried to boolean them the way you do with spheres but for some reason it isn't working.

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

It's something to do with negative metaballs. You can't turn them negative, you have to shift/click to create a neg one. They don't work in quite the same way as neg spheres though.

You can make negative Meta's by ctrl+clicking or shift+clicking or ctrl+shift+clicking or something like that I think.
