This is beautiful, I love the originality of the outfit, it is just exactly like real Hula outfits and the fact that actual models were created and used for it. The Ukulele, the realism is perfect. Thank you for making this amazing outfit and accessaries.

Very nice package, but it's not the only Hawaiian clothing and prop set on the net. PhilC.net has a morphing beachwear set for V3 that includes a grass skirt, coconut shell bra, flipflops, lei, various bikinis and sarongs, hair flower, shell, etc. No ukulele, but there's a very nice free one on Zippo's Web site.

I also have to say, as a Hawaii girl...that's not how Hawaiians really made clothing. The real Hawaiians did not wear coconut shell bras. They went topless, until the missionaries arrived and pitched a fit. I think the coconut shell bras started in the Waikiki strip clubs. Today, hula dancers sometimes wear bikini tops or halters, but more usually wear this kind of top:

I'd love to have authentic Hawaiian wear like that. Though I'm probabably the only one. :-)

I have seached entire Renderosity - Daz3d - PoserPros - RuntimeDNA before making this set and didn't find anything like it, I couldn't have checked the entire web :). I just checked the PhilC.net and seen the hawaiian looking set there. The grass skirt you have mentioned there is a texture work on the mesh. The Real Grass Skirt in this pack is a real modeled grass skirt. I hope you will understand the work put into this. Thanks for your informative message. Best regards, Umut
