Subject: Transposer2 Problems

bwtr ( ) posted Thu, 03 March 2005 at 12:54 AM · edited Fri, 08 November 2024 at 3:01 AM

I have just downloaded from the Renderosity news letter, the freebee DMsNightCorner Poser item. No matter what I do I can't import into Carrara as a pz3. But, if I saved as an .obj in Poser no problem. I am finding some other (not all) items I had saved especially for Transposer have similar problems--import without any X Y Z dimension size. Anyone else having this problem?

Hello bwtr, I've downloaded the DMsNightCorner but haven't installed it to see. I'll let you know what I find. Mark

Thanks Mark. I Have Poser5 and Carrara4Pro all with complete current updates. I find the inconcistency very odd. Also a problem with current updates of Replica which Julien is looking at,which may have a similar basic "cause". Though that thought may be way out! Brian

Is this still in your "looking into" file please Mark? I would like to know if it's me. or a Carrara problem which may be rectified in a later update. Regards Brian

Hi Brian, Sorry for the delay. Real life seems to keep getting in the way of what's important! ;) Everything works for me on this end - imports and displays correctly as a .pz3 file. Mark

Thanks Mark. It's not just a one off problem so I will try and find some "source" cause--I hope!
