Yes, the Dazzling Gaze eye textures are really high quality. Definitely one of the better purchases I've made at DAZ. I bought the Gargoyle, I think it cost me 53 cents or something after all the discounts. Although there are apparently some here who can still find something about this promotion to complain about, I sure can't. ;) SnowS

I do not speak as a representative of DAZ, I speak only as a long-time member here. Be nice (and quit lying about DAZ) and I'll be nice too.
I bought Gargoyle Hound. I was thinking rather about Starlet Dress, but my V3 lies somewhere, still not installed. I rather like to render creatures, and this one is really neat. I wish I found Dazzling Gaze sooner thought. Furrette needs some new eye textures ;-)

I'd rather have a regular sale or see the the new models thrown into the PC Club. Having to check every day is more of a bother, but the stuff's nice so far, so I'll have to get used to it. It was interesting, looking at the posts in the DAZ forum, to see how many people find it fun. To be more effective, having a daily sale should have been advertised early in March so that it would have the widest coverage and reach the most people. There are going to be a lot of ticked off customers that they found out about the sale too late to get some of the items. Not only can they not get models at the daily sale bargain price, but the models aren't even on sale anymore--something which they'd be if it was a typical introductory promotion. A daily sale would be more appropriate with older items that aren't selling well anymore. It's kind of silly doing it on brand new items that would sell well during the first few weeks they're offered. As with any sale, success will be determined by how well the loss leaders enticed customers to spend money elsewhere in the store. Don't get me wrong. I like what's being offered, just not how. I don't blame DAZ for trying something different. Sometimes, doing something in a different fashion makes a big difference to the public. Who would have thought that a person could make millions of dollars selling pet rocks? Look at A&E's By Request concerts--the music acts are playing the same set of songs as if it were a normal concert, but the interactive aspect of it puts on a new spin that audiences like, but there's no way that a request is going to get through the moderators for a song they aren't ready to play. It might be amusing to watch the band scratch their heads for a few minutes till another "interactive" call is put through with a request for something the band's ready to play, but it would get old fast.

is a $5 voucher from Daz. I guess it's only good today.
My idea of rebooting is kicking somebody in the butt twice!
