Thought I'd just add my first thoughts...only downloaded a couple of hours ago, so early days but so far no conflict with Norton, no crashes and tho I'm still playin & getting used to it I'm just happy with the new lighting results alone! A big step forward in my opinion, still lots to look at but worth the upgrade so far in case any of you are still wondering if you'll take the leap. Brian

is it as much or more of a ram hog as 5? I still use 4 cause 5 runs too slow for me...I'm wondering if 6 will be even worse.

I'd say it's faster than 5 but I'd ask around as I've not done a major render yet. I'm running a gig of RAM on a 2700 Athlon XP.
