I have a WIP that I posted in the Gallery today and I'd like some constructive feedback on it if you have the time or the energy. There are some good comments there already but I'd like more. What do you think...some hints on how to make her more feminine looking perhaps...have at it :) Thanks ..

oh, I like it a lot. I feel her arms could be a little heavier. Is she a Judy relative?

I think she looks good as she is. A few comments I could make but as I always say, I am no artist so take what you want and leave the rest.;o) 1) the neck: she is not skinny so she should have a little double chin at least 2) the eyebrows are usually darker than the hair when we start to have grey hair like she seems to be 3) the pubic hair should be about the same color as her hair... I wonder why it is reddish when she obviously had dark brown or black hair when she was young. 4) since she doesn't wear make-up, she shouldn't wear lipstick either IMO 5) the part between the nose and the mouth should show a little bit of hair (not much and if she took it out, just showing - sorry hard to explain this in English) 6) her belly: if I judge by the way her breasts are dropping, her belly should be lower than it is (I mean dropping a little bit) That's about all I can think of. Except that it would be a good idea to give credit or at least to tell us what figure you used. ;o) France

Thanks folks...nope this is V3 with a lot of tweaking and she's on her way into the MP when she's done. This is not an easy project and I just want to make sure that I get plenty of feedback on her before I release her. France I agree with you about maybe a little bit of hair...ick! lol..but that can be done I think, and as for the lipstick, I need to maybe tone down the color of the lips because she's not supposed to look like she's actually wearing lipstick but at the same time I don't want her to look like a ghost either LOL .. This is great..keep em coming :)

I think that muscular shoulder she has forward is the most manly thing about her. Is there anything you can do for that?

I think her eyes are too clear and young looking for her face...unless she is deeply extraordinary. Can you cite the texture? is it your own or Golden Girls or? Good effort towards realism, makes me want to see her in an animation interacting with other realistic characters. Kudos to you for caring enough to take V3 base and going for a unique character. ::::: Opera :::::

Online Now!

Too shiny eyes, too shiny lips. The rest is more than realistic, great work indeed :-)

The eyelids probably should be a little droopier; the skin around the eyes is delicate, and usually the first to sag. Given the condition of the rest of her face, her eyes shouldn't that youthful-looking.

And consider offering a makeup option or two as well. Older women are, if anything, even more likely to wear cosmetics than younger women.

KymJ was probably worried no one would reply. Frankly, I think people like your effort. Go for it. ::::: Opera :::::

LOL Opera...this lot pass up the opportunity to say what they really think ..I don't think so LOL. I had reached a stage with her that I had kinda run out of ideas for making her better and what better place to ask. This is where my customers are and I want to know what they think and what they would like....it's all been great feedback. If I have any hair left after putting some of the suggestions in place, I might do her for SP3 as well since the texture map will work on both V3 and SP3...we'll see :) Kym

*"...she's on her way into the MP when she's done."* This really should be in the Product Showcase Forum. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but if we let these kind of posts slip by, more and more merchants will think it's ok.

Yes, you're probably right and I apologize. I posted it here because it's a WIP at the moment rather than a product and I was looking for feedback more than anything else but point taken. Warning heeded :) Kym
