Subject: Poser 6 Content issues.

Good afternoon,

I wanted to thank everyone for their support on the Poser 6 release and address a few issues.

We will be releasing a content updater that addresses several problems. For clarification I want to let you know that content updates will be released independently of application updates and on a separate schedule.

The addressed issues resulted from how the content portion of the installer was created. Unfortunately we discovered that some specific content files were not up to date when we released the product to manufacturing.

We have put together and are testing an installer that replaces the files in question and addresses several other issues discovered later such as the issue with Jessis eyes.

The updated content will be available sometime in the next few days. This installer will include fixes for clothing items, the James CR2 set, and the Jessi CR2 set. The release notes will contain a complete list of changes.

We understand that this is an inconvenience to you and we will include several additional items such as a Winter Coat for James and Lingerie for Jessi.

We will make the updater available from several locations which Ill post as soon as I can, were excited about this release and would like the community to know that we appreciate your support and we feel that one of the best ways we can show that appreciation is to address any issues that arise in a timely manner.

A note to content developers: There will be differences in the hands and feet of James and Jessi that may cause any clothing made from the current CR2s to not conform correctly to the updated versions. If you would like to get the latest content information and support for creating content please visit http://www.contentparadise.com/user/static.php?name=cdev.

Thank you

Steve

wondering..have you some thumbnails images empty? some of them appears that way in my P6 library.

If it looks as mere real life, then it don't worth the effort.

LilWolff ( ) posted Tue, 22 March 2005 at 8:18 PM

I have several thumbnails that are not working on mine also. On a few someone must of made the png file wrong. shrugs If you get Yarps P3d0 you can fix this by making rsr files from the png's that are there - delete those pngs and then poser will make its own png files from the rsr file your made. Or wait till they send a fix. I am to nosey to wait, I want to see everything without having to click on it. :-)
