Surprise! P6 is backordered already. Granted I was one of the last ones to squeeze in before the deadline to order the SE box (ordered Mar 19) Here's what I got in E-mail today. ------------------ We're Sorry! The product(s) you've ordered is currently out of stock and could not be shipped. The product(s) has been placed on back-order and will be shipped as soon as possible when the stock becomes available. You will receive another email notification when your order has actually shipped. Your credit card has been pre-authorized, but you will NOT be charged until the product ships. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Everyone who pre-ordered the boxed version (as opposed to the download) got that message. I pre-ordered the day after the pre-orders started and I got the backorder message.

Yes, I remember I got one of those too. But in another email, this is what CL said: Physical orders will be activated in our system on the 21st, so if you receive a backorder notification, do not worry. This is just an automated message sent by the system when an order cant be processed immediately because the warehouses have not yet received stock. There will be enough product available for ALL PREORDERS. So they should have enough product to cover even the latest preorders.

scratches head Well that'd make sense that it was an automated thing if I'd gotten it BEFORE the 21st. But it's now 3 days after the 21st...just seems odd. crosses fingers that there indeed is enough. :)

I got my back order message exactly 3 hours and 42 minutes after I ordered my copy on February 17. It's got to be an automated email. Kristta

CL still had some P6 SE left over and was still advertising after all preorders was shipped. Like what Manquin said "Ralex, life is easy"

Here's another part to that mail that you might have missed:

Physical product should arrive in our Digital River warehouses in the US and the UK within five to seven business days. Orders for physical product will start being processed at that time, and all orders should ship within one to two business days. The timing for receipt of individual orders will then be based on the delivery method chosen when preordered.

Basically, all boxed orders are going to start shipping 5 to 7 days after the 21st.
