Been using it since Thursday. no problem here. When I let it check for updates, it said there was none, update might be in beta yet. I'm going to look..

Hello,
I installed it. I have a mad animated shot at rendering. I launched that render yesterday with previous build. But now I see the clock... I can say it is more faster. And the quality is better.
Something happened magic!
I feel very good today. :-)))

Yep, it's on the eon site. It's beta only so the auto-update feature within V5i will not download it for you. Seems to be working fine for me. Some issues with spikes on Procedural Terrains on the sample scenes - other than that rock solid so far.

No Problem at all. Tip: Download the Collections Patch too, that fix some missing files and add new materials. Mazak

I got the update yesterday and when tryed using the materials of monsoons earthenware the preview render would go blank. I had to roll back to previous update to use them. I have reported this to tech support and waiting on a reply why this happened. Has anyone else tryed monsoons earthenware textures on a standard terrian. I would be curios if they work for you. :)

What are monsoons'materials?

iloco ( ) posted Sat, 26 March 2005 at 8:12 AM

Attached Link: http://www.3dcommune.com/3d/store/display.mv?vs_mons_vuemt

They are a package of materials which can found at 3dcommune. I have used them with Vue 4 and Vue Pro without any problems and also with Vue Infinitie before the latest update. Do a search for monsoon at 3dcommune and you will find the earthenware material package. :o) Attached is link to the materials. I hope this is allowed. I will remove if not.

As stated above. From the earthenware collection. If there is one in particular...let me know :)

iloco ( ) posted Sat, 26 March 2005 at 10:33 AM

Debby are you using update build 275946 which was updated on the 24th I believe. Be sure and check the update build you are using. If you using the latest build and not having problem it must be in my install of Vue Infinite. The mat I tryed first was the Matto Grosso from earthenware collection. Tryed another but don't remember the one.

can someone post a link to the patch please?

iloco ( ) posted Sat, 26 March 2005 at 11:27 AM

The upgrade is in the registered members area at e-on. You need to register your version of Vue to have access to the downloads. If you are a registered user go to e-ons site and clcik on support and it will take you to the page for downloads. :o)
