MarsRebel posted a remapped DAZ Centaur character and some extra textures of which I am hugely thankful for. I have been going nuts trying to track down ANY Support files for this old character without much luck. I have tried using DORK MTs for the face/head and failed. Apparently the mesh is not the same as DORK mesh and the MTs non-compatible. I have tried looking for better textures and so far besides Mars remapped set I have managed to find only one very nice one but only as a gift from the original creator and not as a public download. This was a great character and I wish DAZ had created a good support product line for it. But as usual they did not! Does anyone here know of any MTs for the original DAZ Centaur or of any textures for it? I have been PATIENTLY WAITING!!!! for DAZ to complete the New MilCentaur but it seems they got stymied in its creation and it has sorta disappeared from their TO DO LIST. Anyone know what is up with it?

I don't know of any MTs or anything, but a while back I did a chainmail texture for the human part and offered it here as a freebie for a while, but I can't seem to find it. I'm pretty sure the human part is based on the old Zygote Muscle Man and the Horse part might be the Daz charger. Which means that if you have the Muscle Man clothing pack then you have a shirt for the centaur.

...I think the horse part is the original Poser/Zygote horse, not the DAZ Charger.

Slightly OT here, but does anybody know if there's a centaur around using Mike? Or a way to make one -- I got inspired by a story the other week and wanna do a centaur Snape. But alas, the morph & face files won't work on Dork or the old Zygote centaur, only with M3 or D3.

I have created a centaur and centauress using P4 horse and V2 & M2 for the human parts. It is a bit of work but looks good. How busy do you want to be setting it up? :) The only other one I know of would be the DAZ MilCentaur which was a merged mesh set from M3 and New MilHorse. But they went into a production coma when they supposedly hit the wall with technical problems and haven't done anything more about it.

::sigh:: Had a feeling someone was gonna say that. Guess I'll just have to wait till they recover. :-( Either that, or find a way to fake it. Was only gonna use it for stills, not animation, so I oughta be able to figure something out.

Well today I opened up my DAZ newsletter and it featured a tutorial for making a V3/Mil Horse centuar. Great tute!! Naturally, however, it made me wonder about the REAL Mil Centaur :) Any good progress been made in the last month Drax? still on the edge of my seat ;) Logan
