MarketPlace Showcase F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 23 1:52 am)
"Question: when you say usable in Poser, do you
mean the parts are posable? For instance, does
the diaphragm have a morph to contract properly?
Do the Jaw and tongue have joints?"
ockham that was a very good question and I would like to know the answer also. Along with my own question of whether the muscles, organs and everything move with the character. That would give it even more possiblities. Ex: Movement and Motion science - visualization for physical therapist just to mention a few.
Guess we will have to wait and see. shrugs

I really think this is a cool concept that has some ground-breaking applications in scientific education and courtroom testimony. But it's cost prohibitive. When it comes to forensic animation and medical diagrams, often there's this mentality that these presentations are only suited for high profile cases such as OJ Simpson and Scott Peterson because the average prosecuting and/or defending attorney wouldn't be able to acquire these services because of the cost. The great thing about poser is that it is so accessible to a mainstream audience. I think you would be making a lot more money if the figure was less cost prohibitive and you were marketing it directly to medical examiners, forensic laboratories, and medical schools. BTW, I think topics like this definitely justifies having a scientific issues forum, which is something that has been overlooked here for a very long time...

Try going there directly. (see link) The item in question is undoubtedly wonderfully and professionally made. For the price, however, I could buy myself a brand new low- to mid-range car. bonni"When a man gives his opinion, he's a man. When a woman gives her opinion, she's a bitch." - Bette Davis
lol For props that will be rigged at some point in the future via an update that is a lot to ask on faith... :) Me I like the idea of Daz supporting Poser 6 now. ^^

Hi all. Thanks for your interest. Zygote is very committed to scientific visualization. This is the first of many products to come. We already have developed, cells, dna, nanotubes and neurons. These products are designed primarily for the professional market but we will have some products that are affordable to almost everyone. We do have a version of female anatomy that we will be releasing soon. This would include reproductive cycles as well. This product clearly is not for everybody but we wanted to make it available in the Poser format for those that need it. Poser is being used more and more by the scientific community and we are looking forward to the releasing our Shade version next month to make it available to other users in the E-Frontier universe. We will issue a press release tomorrow that should give you a better understanding of what we're up to. Thanks again for your interest.
Thanks for the update. I suppose those of us who are just hobbyists should be glad that someone besides us are finding a use for Poser. Use by a variety of disciplines will certainly assist in Poser's development. I'm not in a position to fork out the kind of money you're asking for the anatomy items, but I'm glad that you will have products that may be affordable for the rest of us. Take a look at the prices here and at DAZ....that's about what most of us can afford :)
just for teh record I think that you do get poser 6 with the purchse :) They are a really nice male figure as well. Nice skeleton figure I would consider lowering the price drastically though but as the saying goes...you only gotta sell 1 :)
