Subject: Help to improve this one...

Zacko ( ) posted Mon, 28 March 2005 at 3:22 PM · edited Fri, 15 November 2024 at 3:45 AM

Im not sure about this one. I think its too square, should i cropp it or not? Then i would of course loose the swing or the sky. And im not sure about that map either...ill probably loose that one. Thats where i live by the way..where the dot is. This is our "village-beach" by the way...impressive huh? :op Any help or opinions would be truly appriciated!!! Have a great day!!!

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

What fabulous reflections - super colours. Only thing I would do is get rid of the blue specks of light otherwise seems to good to crop :)

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

Sorry no suggestions from me, but I do love the sky and reflections.

I love the reflection. Tho only nitpick is the reflection of the ples on the water. I think the digital could not handle it. There is something wrong with the pole reflections. MAYBE you cold fix the poles reflection by bluring the reflections a tad bit. ( But actually I would just leave them alone. However you asked. ) Bsteph

hope you don't mind that I messed around with your image. Here is what I came up with. I felt that the swing? and the map were a distraction from an otherwise beautiful image. I also noticed that there was some detail left in the foreground and horizon that I was able to bring out a bit.

Great sky and colors.

All I would do is crop it so the dark section is gone from bottom,then keep it in large size as a panorama type image.

totally gorgeous photo!!!!! How wonderful to live surrounded by such a beautiful environment! I love the sky and reflections, and i have a thing about swings. i totally adore them. oh, i would hate to have to see it go. doug has a great idea, but i might play with it by trying to crop just about half off the bottom so at least part of the swing is kept. i did spend some time playing with this image, but I'm too exhausted...another late night at work. i do like your image a LOT...love dark silhouttes!! anyway, i don't care for the map. :( sorry. anyway, that's my two cents...

gorgeous sunset!! i love this kind of shots! maybe try to crop the dark parts of water, you can darken a little the shot so the colours will be more warm and the silhouettes more dark

Nice work people. My suggestion would be along the lines of Doug, but edit out the swing set somehow. I like this as a panorama!
