Hi all, I am new to Poser, started with version 5 and am now using version 6. I have purchased a bit of content which often comes with versions for P4 as well as PP. Which set would be best to use with Poser version 6? thanks for the help. John

Use the PP version. The bump mapping of P4 is different from PP and P5/P6.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

...and even then, some models link the bump map in the Material room to the Gradient_Bump node, and require you to manually disconnect and move it over to the Bump node.

Plus a lot of P4 stuff uses a .bum file which isn't included and must be converted from a .jpg first. Otherwise Poser 5 spends forever looking for a non-existant .bum file. Best to just delete the P4 version so you don't click on it by mistake and lock up Poser 5.
