I now it's all probably been said or asked already but I haven't followed it much because I only got mine testerday. 1 Where are Jenni's genital morphs, she hasn't got any on my version although the male character had genital morphs. 2 I had to knock my "hardware acceleration" down 3 notches to render in Firefly which makes the "openGL" preview virtually useless. If anyone knows why the acceleration should affect it please let me know. 3 The "wipe" feature is quite cool but I don't think I'll really use it. 4 I'm off to have another play, with the lights this time. Overall it looks quite slick, if anyone can answer the queries above please do!! thefixer poser coordinator.

Fixer, On #2--do you have the latest drivers for your card? That might make a difference. I've found the "wipe" feature very useful when I'm "tweaking" the settings on a render. Render, tweak, then re-render. I can use the wipe to do a "better like this, or better like this" comparison.

Neither Judy (P5 woman) nor Posette (P4 woman) had genital morphs. Why break tradition. Likely one of the morph artists are already creating them. Nerd3D

What make and model is your graphics card? CL supports ATI and Nvida for sure. Other makes may not support OpenGL. (They all seem to think they have to do their own thing) P.S. In my town be have a store that specializes in used computer parts. I can get last years latest and greatest graphics card for about $25. If you are on a tight budget check for a computer recycler in your town. If you loaded with cash on the other hand, go buy the hottest ATI or Nvida card you can lay hands on. It really makes a difference to Poser now. Nerd3D

Hi Nerd this is my current spec: Pentium4 3.4 GHz Ht processor, 1 Gig of RAM, and an ATI 256 Meg x600 pro graphics card and right now Firefly runs like crap on it! renders with the P4 engine no problem put it on Firefly and it comes up with all sorts of reasons why it can't do it even on really low settings. If you can make any suggestions I really would be grateful 'cos it beats the shit out of me quite honestly!!

hmm have you set your swapfile to the recommended Poser min / max settings? I use 1999 min and 2000 max. give that a try... btw? the gfx card has nothing to do with Firefly apart from displaying the output....

I use 3 gig for the VM or swap file!! I've really tried everything to get it to run, no luck!!

3gig? turn it down mate! not even XP does that well on memory management, unless you've hacked the kernel (still finding out details on that) or your using Xp Server... try 2 gig tops.
