We also know that all this is being done to placket his extreme right wing bible thumping base of support, that wish to turn the clock back to a time when censors ruled every aspect of our lives. It has got the whole erotic art word scared to death and 3D artistic sites are spooked even more then most for the realism that their artist can now generate using poser and other advanced 3D programs. Therefore, moderators, why not say that. Just tell every one that the authorities in Bushes newly constituted Fascist State have you scared of being shut down or worse by his secret Internet sex police and be done with it. Stop making flowering speeches about how this kind of nudity is ok or this model is ok as long as you do not show this body part, and tell the people the truth. Your no site is grand and I love viewing what other 3D artist like myself create, but it is no different then all the other 3D sites I visit and enjoy that used to allow posting of 3D art work with little or no censorship. That the Supreme Court says is protected, under the freedom of speech act, in our countrys Bill of Rights. Most but not all have all caved in to the intense outside pressure from sponsors and such, as well as the pressure exerted by some over-zealous folks complaining in the forums that dont even like the art in the first place. I have read a lot of forum letters in the last few months, that turn into out right fights over content and even in the forum of Renderertica the main bastion of uncensored 3D nude pinups and hard core 3D erotica have people bickering over what is safe to post. If I sound bitter I am somewhat, I am a strong believer in an uncensored, open source Internet where information and data can be shared around the world through p2p, with out being censored by big brothers harassment. Being a female, as well as, abuse victim, I am not advocating open 3D pedo pornography on this site. For I am well aware that we all need to abide by the rules set down by the monitors of this site, but nude little fairies give me a break,. Fairies are nude, ageless, and represent the fertility magic of mother earth. Their small genitals are not dirty nor are they indecent, and should not be covered by a fig leaf as the ancient church fathered did, to the nude human figures created in paint, stone, and clay, by the great masters. I have read the forum letters here as well as other 3D sites, and all the bickering make me sad, but I dont except you to read may letter and thats kool. No one in this fear laden country, not even the artists, want to hear the truth about what is being lost, until it is far to late to reclaim it. I will still read the forums and enjoy some of my favorite pinup and gothic artists here at Renderosity, but I will not post my unclothed fairies or any other nude 3D art I have learned how to produce with poser 5. Although I don't know whether nude fairies will ever be welcome here again, after the many acrimonious debates we've had, there may still be one or two sites left where they are welcome. Over the past 4 years, we've seen all the arguments and other tactics used to justify or apologize for them, but unfortunately they don't convince, they don't persuade - they only serve to divide, to alienate, to anger, to increase the rift between the two sides. That may be the reason why a diverse site can't support nude fairies - due to the ugly divisions and acrimony they cause. That may be the reason why only a monolithic site - one that is devoted to nude fairies, and little or nothing else - can support them, because dissent can be stifled there, thus preventing any ugly arguments and personal attacks from ruining things for everyone.

Pay pal is not likely wanting to bend to any "moral majority" as much as it is sick of dealing with the credit card theft (and the subsequent chargebacks) on porn sites and therefore are adopting similar rules for any site dealing with nudity.

We're under the same Constitution that's been interpreted in varying ways for over 200 years. Both the right and the left have the right to try to get their values passed into law. Both have succeeded at times, and both have lost at times. Despite all the noise, there is no evidence that proves that the "moral majority" is either moral or a majority. The pendulum swings back and forth. I second Kendra's post.

I have seen stupid explanations trying to justify cencorship and attacks against nudity, but this is plain ridiculous. How an earth could attacks agains nudity stop credit card theft? Wakeup! The real reason for cencorship is evilness. The "moralists" just want to hurt other people. That can not be tolerated. I suggest the following course of action: 1. Do not delete any nude images 2. Do not post any new images to Renderosity 3. Write to the site owners and tell them that the new TOS sucks and it has to be revoked 4. If the TOS is not revoked, resign your membership 5. Above all: do not buy any products marketed or advertised at Renderosity. If the site owners want to hurt the users with the TOS, they must be ready to pay for it.
