Moon Lit Forest Floor Thumb I wonder why this Thumbnail image is required.

I like this very much!! it's a beautiful photo... the undulating lines so defined in the moonlight did you use a tripod for this & longer exposure? the thumb is helpful to Doug in loading it to the challenge page :]

gasp OMG this is sooooooo incredibly beautiful!!!! The instant i saw this i was reminded of Van Gogh's Starry, Starry Night...i guess it's the swirls in the wood? then on the lower left, i see an elephant eye!!! What settings did you use on this? it's soooo dreaming and you have really inspired me!!!!!!!! Got more like this????? ;)

Hi all. Lots are asking questions so I'll try and answer. First of all don't hate me but this is a moonlite simulation. I started with a daytime photo I took last year on a hike in forest. The origanal picture had nice lines as tvernuccio noted. Reminded me of Van Gogh's Starry Starry Night. So thought I should make it night. I used a photshop plugin filter called midnight blue and made some ajustments to contast and brightness and the results where beautiful and very nightlike so I named it Moon Lit Forest Floor.

Hi all. I just reread the rules and they say "The new photos you take will be photos taken in the night time." and since this was was not the case but just a simulation I am removing the picture from the competition. You will still be able to see it in my gallery. Sorry about that, it was my first challange entry. Live and learn:/
