Subject: P6 problem with Preview Render

Hmmm. Just got my Poser 6. When I try to use the Preview Render option with Open GL rendering (to render a one cartoon tone figure in Cartoon w/lines preview mode) OR when I try to use the ol' Antialias Document render on the preview, all I get is a rendering of the background color (in most settings), or else the figure barely visible through the background color (in others). I've tried a wide variety of settings, but no luck. Otherwise, the Open GL seems to work fine for me. And I can Preview Render fine in the SreeD mode, but then I can't have the nifty one tone toon look. Anyone else having this problem? Am I setting something wrong or does my computer just not like Open GL? Thanks! Peter

What video card do you have and have you made sure you have the latest drivers installed? I'm using a Radeon 9800 Pro with the latest catalyst drivers and the Open GL stuff in P6 has been rock solid for me.

My video card is Matrox Millenium G450. I just double checked and I have the latest drivers. Weird thing is, the Open GL seems to work fine for every other kind of rendering, so it may not be the Open GL's fault at all, I suppose. I just can't think of any other likely culprit, since Preview Render works fine in SreeD. sigh Peter
