Best closeup I could get of the crescent moon using HP R607. I don't care for the fuzzy look around the edges.

I'm sort of wondering what you think of the difference between the two.

In this shot I like the way the shadow of the earth stands out like you would see during an eclipse.

If any of you were to show these in your gallery, which of the two would you choose?

well, i love them both, Joe!!! That first one REALLY appeals to me, and i know i DEFINITELY would put that one in my gallery!!!! i sure would be proud of it!!! i love seeing all the details in the first one...the stars and the textures and colors of the moon!!! i don't mind the fuzz!!!!! You've done a fabulous job with both!!!!!
