Subject: Poser6_CL supplied UPS Tracking Number INVALID_anybody else?

Got a CL notification on 30 March to say my boxed version had been shipped.

So I live in Dublin a few miles from what I believe is the CL dispatch office for all of Europe (it was for P5). I chose UPS delivery because it is better than the post here.
Today being Monday, I expected delivery. No show.

Tried to tack my order via the UPS site and got
"One or more of the numbers you entered are not valid UPS Tracking Numbers. Please review and update the field(s) highlighted in red with arrows"

I then rang them in Dublin and they tell me that the CL supplied UPS tracking number is incomplete and they cannot give me any information without the full number.

Is this a common cock-up or is it just my order?

How many Digits in your number - if it's 10 its DHL. Mine came out of UK (to Australia) and came through DHL. It has actually taken longer in Customs than the flight out here :)

Yep 10 on mine, so why does the Cl site direct me to the UPS site on my order query with my tracking number and tell me on my email confirmation to go to http://www.ups.com? Going to try DHL. Thanks tastiger.

That is a question that only CL can answer Storm - same thing happened with me.. You would think they could at least get the link right

Yep it was DHL, and what is more from the web delivery record they tried to deliver today during the one period I was out.
Had I known it was DHL I could have contacted the delivery driver and recieved delivery, instead I was going round in circles for most of the morning with UPS before giving up. Damm!

It was DHL for me and at least one other person here in Greece too. In fact, I even called Digital River's UK offices to see why I wasn't able to track it and still no mention of DHL. They even gave me the "alleged" UPS phone number in my area which I had to figure out to dial since it was without an area code in another city and then it turned out it was DHL. I should have waited before going to all that troube as it arrived about an hour later! As much as I liked Poser 6 from the start, I sure hope Curious Labs is not going to be using Digital River for distribution of Poser 7.
