Neat bird! Very striking. :) You need a lot more red under the throat. The black on the face is actually rather mask-like above a red bib. The images show some with beaks this black and some lighter, so that appears to be a variable. I like him with the black. Some of the pictures also show a tiny white puff just at the base under the tail (odd for a male?), but everything else is dark. Apparently when courting these birds fluff up around the back of the head, too? (It looks almost like an Elizabethan ruff!) So, basically, this bird looks quite handsome, but just needs a deeper bib of color to be spot on... so to speak. ;^) Carolly

I have made the Red,Dark Red OrangRed and YellowOrang Plumage of the Bishop I think I'm finished :) Regrads arye guetta p.s. all are males - any remark or comment on how to imprive the bishop if neccery are more then welcome :)

What lovely birds-- I just finished downloading some of your other textures, they are beautifully done-- thank you so much. Such an easy way to add a splash of color and life to a scene. Emily

They'll look nice around a bunch of grasses or dried seed-heads.
