Subject: V5I - Resume render feature

Stumbled on this by total accident. (I think Vue 4 Pro had a feature similar to this but it never worked for me) Last night I started to render an image at around 8pm. At 11pm I came and checked on the image and it was only half way done so I decided to stop it and would render the image when I had the time to let it finish in total. Today when I came home from work I reloaded my file with the intent to render my scene from start to finish. To my surprise, V5I remembered where it left off the last time and started to render from there!!! This means that the next time V5I tells me it will take 30 hrs to render an image I can do it over several days time!!! I was and still am thrilled!!! No longer do I have to leave my pc on over night, I can render part of the image, save the file, and come back and reload the scene the next day to finish the render. V5I is awesome!!!!

That's a cool point to keep in mind...

I fell in love with that feature. I don't like to leave my computer on when I'm at work, but I let it run all night. A few nights, and some of my long ones are done. Vue4P only worked for animations. Resume render for stills works better for me than network rendering.

Jus finished a 30 hour render using the feature myself. Warning though, if you make any changes to the scene and save, the resume will not be saved with it. I added a bird to a part of the scene that had not been rendered yet, thinking I could get away with it. I had to start again...lol So be warned

A pretty cool feature, it is also in Vue 5 Esprit. I have used it on a couple of long renders, splitting them up over a few render sessions.
