Hey!

Made these in C4D. Was wondering if it's worth converting them for Poser.
If there's enough interest, i'll convert them.
I will require someone to host them.

These are medium-hires models(15-18,000 Polys)

LCD textures(Supplied): Buttons, Back Labels(Warnings).
You'd have to supply your own Screen image.

Fire-Hydrant: Unfortunately, the metals are native C4D shaders. You'd have to create your own in Poser.

More stuff is on the way: Scafolds, CPU Desk(Piped), Lamp-Post, etc...(These are models i made for client projects, which are just collecting dust). :-)

They look great to me. Especially the monitor.

Would love the monitor. Fire hydrant looks good, but don't think I'd ever use it shrug

They'd both be cool to have. Wouldnt' get used a ton by me, but would like to use both at some point.

Well, that's enough responses for me. I'll convert them for Poser 4*(They'll be ready for someone to host thursday). I did go a bit overkill on the monitor(even the screws on the back)LOL. But, it can render upclose. :-) As for "I promise to use them.." . If you use them cool. If not, well that's cool too. I'm an "easy going guy". Later! Draco *P4 forever for me(Loads fast, i can have 6 V3 + clothes + props & still be able to run Pshop & C4D), Sweet! ;-)

if you want...i can host the fire-hydrant...

Booker5 ( ) posted Tue, 05 April 2005 at 7:00 PM

I think I could find a use for them! The detail is really nicely done.

DRACONIAN ( ) posted Tue, 05 April 2005 at 7:39 PM

Thanks! NimProdAction! I'll message you when it's ready. ------------------------------------------------ I'm trying to fix the UVMapping of the LCD. Problem is that i never thought i'd convert them for Poser. In C4D, you do not need to UVMap everything. Because the way i model(Box Modeling) & i also use "layered" materials. So, i don't need to UVMap for the decals, i just use the "texture axis" tool. I'm not as good with "Poserising" as my friend Viomar was. But, i'll try to make it easy to texture the models. I'll post Poser Renders later to compare... Draco

Here's how it looks in Poser 4. I'm sure that Poser 5-6 users will be able to make it look way better with all those Nodes. ;-) The file is ready to be hosted.(997k) The Fire-Hydrant will come later. Draco

onimusha ( ) posted Tue, 05 April 2005 at 9:46 PM

HELL'S YES!!! Talk about precision and detail... You post it, I'll render with it... the hydrant would go perfectly with Stonemason's Urban Sprawl or Dark Alley... The monitor would just be awesome for the Room Creator...

You know, I have for approx. 10DVDs of Poser files and I don't think I have an hydrant. I love this one! Can't wait to download it! Please let us know when it is available!

Yes, another thing from my own room. LOL This one never got finished(Still needs detailing) & the labels... I'm having a few problems with UVMapping the Hydrant. You'd think that with a cylinder shape that it would be easy. Be patient with moi. ;-) FishNose(Cool name, BTW!), i'm sending you my email. Thanks! Draco
