Subject: Can Poser 4 items be used in Poser 5?

I've been looking through some free sites the last couple of days and found so many lovely things, but so many are for Poser 4, and I have Poser 5.

Yes, you can use P4 stuff in P5 and P6. Probably the only problem you'll run across is the bump maps. P4 uses a weird format called BUM files, instead of JPGs. I usually just make my own bumps using shader nodes. And if the item blows up like a marshmallow in a microwave, just turn polygon smoothing off.

The poser 5 figures, don and judy etc work with poser 4.
